Described by Maverick Magazine as "one of the world's greatest performers" Dave sings, tap dances, plays guitar, keyboard, banjo, fiddle, and harmonica. A former member of former Blues In Britain UK blues band of the year The Producers. Stompin' Dave was nominated for a British Blues Award in 2014.
Dave has performed across the UK and beyond, including many major festivals such as Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, and Bestival.

Dave started to perform with the stage name Stompin' Dave about fifteen years ago. Since then he has released over thirty albums and made well over two hundred festival appearances, including some major ones such as Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Bestival, etc.
Although Dave often performs solo he does from time to time perform with a variety of different friend, including his own various duo and band lineups. These include popular London based hoedown band Cut A Shine. Multi award winning winning drummer Sam Kelly and top rock n roll artist Earl Jackson.
Over the years Dave has been an enthusiastic promoter of concerts in art centres and theatre, some of these concerts have seen Dave appear alongside touring musicians from the USA. These have included The Whitetop Mountain Band, from Viriginna, W.C. Handy award winner Guy Davis and International Bluegrass Achievement award winner Alice Gerrard, as well as many others.
Dave perfroms a broad spectrum of American roots music blues, bluegrass, rock n roll, old time, folk, country, etc. Dace's vast repertoire ranges from traditional songs and tunes to vintage covers and his own originals.
